Heritage Bank opens new branch at Westfield Coomera
Heritage Bank will open a new branch at the Westfield Coomera Shopping Centre tomorrow, giving a vote of confidence to the northern Gold Coast

Heritage Bank will open a new branch at the Westfield Coomera Shopping Centre tomorrow (11 October) offering local residents the chance to see why Heritage has been rated the top bank in Australia for customer satisfaction.
The move is a vote of confidence in the Gold Coast, and Coomera in particular. It will be Heritage’s 61st branch and located near Kmart in the northern end of the new shopping centre.
Staff will celebrate by giving away showbags containing Heritage pencil cases, lollypops, water bottles, frisbees and pens. There will also be cupcake giveaways on opening day on Thursday, and CEO Peter Lock will take part in a ribbon cutting to officially open the branch at 10am on Friday.
The branch will feature a modern, open design, packed with technology including a smart ATM (accepting cash and cheque deposits); a coin-counter; and a tech wall with iPad, digital brochure browser and touch-screen for easy access to internet banking.
CEO Peter Lock said the new branch would offer people of the northern Gold Coast the kind of personal and caring service that had given Heritage the highest customer satisfaction score in the country.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be extending our branch network to this part of the Gold Coast and opening at the new Westfield Coomera Shopping Centre.
“Coomera is a fantastic and growing part of the Gold Coast. We believe Coomera will continue to boom as an important hub for the northern end of the coast and we are delighted to be part of its growth.
“We know that the great products, great rates and great service that we offer will really resonate with the people who live in this area.
“As a customer-owned bank, our focus is on providing our customers with the best value we can. Unlike the big banks, we’re not about maximizing profit to pay dividends to shareholders.

The branch will stay operate for extended hours on both this Saturday and Sunday to mark the occasion.
